Thanks for all the great work you’re doing on making Jigspace an even more powerful yet accessible platform for interactive 3D. One area where we’d love to see improvement is in animation import options. Right now, animation support is limited, which makes it difficult to bring in product assemblies or pre-authored motion sequences from 3D tools. Many of our workflows involve mechanical parts moving in sequence, rigged assemblies, or simple keyframed storytelling animations. These are standard in formats like FBX, glTF/GLB, and USD. Proposed Feature: Allow importing animations directly from FBX (skeletal rigs, object transforms, keyframes). Expand support for glTF/GLB, which is lightweight and optimized for real-time use, including node animations and morph targets. Why This Matters: Greatly reduces the need to rebuild animations inside Jigspace. Makes it easier to showcase product functionality (assemblies, mechanisms, moving parts). Opens up Jigspace to a broader range of professional 3D workflows while keeping assets efficient and interactive. Strengthens Jigspace’s role as a storytelling tool, not just a static 3D viewer. This would be a big step forward for creators who want to tell clear, dynamic product stories in Jigspace without complex workarounds.
