I want to be able to select 1 or more sub-objects within a 3D model and save those to my team library as a smaller standalone model.
For example:
  • Whole model in JigSpace has 500 sub-objects
  • Select 20 sub-objects
  • Save to library
  • New library object created with 20 parts.
Similar to cropping or splitting a file into smaller parts, this would enable only the parts I need to be added to a Jig without any 3D modelling or CAD manipulation.
All the transforms as they exist in JigSpace would be saved as part of the model, like position, rotation, scale, pivot, materials and textures, and renamed parts.
I should be able to use normal multi-select in green-mode to select several parts. And if I add a sub-object which is a parent to child sub-objects, the child objects will also be saved with their parent.
