Maxim Cooper in your example - if user on step 1, goes to step 2 (which autoplays) - where would you expect the viewer to go after step 4?
1) loop back to step 2 (continuous loop through group 1)
2) loop back to step 1 (where the initial jig starts)
3) stop at step 4, wait for user to navigate to next step (5) or click on action?
Do you see looping being a key part of how you would autoplay sequences? Or are they one-time autoplay only to achieve articulated movement?

A "bounce back" effect could also be applicable
Step 1 Action to Step 2 autobounce 2->3->4->3->2->1
Step 1 Action to Step 5 autobounce 5->6->7->6->5->1
or
Step 1 Action to Step 2 autobounce 2->3->4->3->2->3->4->3->2...
