Optimizing your imported CAD files
When you import a CAD file or 3D model into the Workshop, you can now choose how JigSpace optimizes it. Keep Optimize model automatically on to merge sub-objects so your Jig loads faster, or turn it off to preserve every part of the original. For heavy models, turn on Decimate geometry and set your own rate to reduce the triangle count. JigSpace remembers your settings for the next import.

Keyboard shortcuts on Windows and Mac
The most popular editing shortcuts are now displayed in shortcuts panel. Click the help icon in the bottom-left corner of the Workshop and choose Keyboard shortcuts to see them.

You can see them grouped into Core, Navigation and Object shortcuts. Press W, E, and R to switch between move, rotate, and scale, Tab to switch between object and sub-object mode, F to focus the view on the selected object, Ctrl / ⌘ + ↓ to snap a selected object to the floor, and more.
Hide action effects
Actions show a glimmer effect on a model so viewers know where to tap. In Jigs where nearly every part has an action, or in training assessments where learners should find the right part unaided, that hint gets in the way. You can now turn it off for a Jig: open Jig settings and toggle Hide action effects. It applies to everyone viewing that Jig, including in the web viewer and apps.

Universal Mac app
JigSpace for Mac is now a universal app that runs natively on Apple silicon, for better performance on M-series Macs. Older Intel-based Macs are still supported.
